Mister Rogers arrives with a large display board showing pictures of several of his Neighborhood friends. After talking briefly about friendship, he shows the picture in the center which is of Buzz Wagner, a shoe salesman. Paying a visit to Mr. Wagner's shoe store, Mister Rogers wants to buy a new pair of shoes. After Mister Rogers spends a few minutes looking at all of the different kinds of shoes on display, Mr. Wagner approaches him to offer his assistance. Sizing up Mister Rogers' feet, Mr. Wagner is not able to find the proper size in the style of shoe Mister Rogers wants. Following Mr. Wagner to the store room, Mister Rogers is able to find a different pair which fits much better. Back at the house, Mister Rogers talks about disappointment and how a person may not always get what they want. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Robert Troll is at the Platypus mound playing dress-up with Prince Tuesday and Ana. As they try on different kinds of hats, Ana and Tuesday begin to argue over one particular hat. Initially, Robert Troll has to take the hat away but Ana and Tuesday quickly agree to share the hat. Ana then shows Robert Troll and Prince Tuesday a special pair of shoes that she has. Lady Elaine Fairchilde arrives and demands that Ana share these extra-special shoes. When Ana refuses, Lady Elaine heads to the castle to tell the King. At the castle, King Friday agrees that sharing is important but upholds an exception to the rule of sharing. In doing so, Lady Elaine realizes that some things are special to people and do not have to be shared -- much like her boomerang. Back at the house, Mister Rogers talks more about this idea: "Sharing is hard sometimes for everyone. Everybody has somethings that they shouldn't have to share. Do you have a blanket, or a stuffed animal, or a pillow? Well, if it's extra special to you, that's something that you shouldn't have to share." Mister Rogers then uses the box from his new shoes to make a pretend bed for a stuffed animal. He concludes for the day by singing It's You I Like. Part of the "Mister Rogers' Neighborhood" series.
