Mister Rogers arrives with an airplane and a bird made by a young friend out of paper. With a poster for the Neighborhood of Make-Believe's upcoming Peace Party, Mister Rogers challenges Picture Picture to duplicate the text. Chef Brockett stops by to make something for the Peace Party and sings I'm a Chef on his way to the kitchen. Together with Mister Rogers, he makes a batch of peach pudding as Mister Rogers sings Peace and Quiet. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Lynda Martha rehearses baton twirling for the Peace Party as Edgar Cooke watches. Lady Elaine arrives dressed as a dove of peace and suggests that the party be about peace and noise, not peace and quiet. Momentarily returning to the house, Mister Rogers hangs some Peace Party decorations as he sings We're Going to Have a Party. Meanwhile, in the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, the castle has been decorated for the Peace Party as the guests begin to arrive. After giving his approval of the decorations, King Friday enjoys a performance by Lynda Martha before claiming responsibility for peace in the Neighborhood of Make-Believe. Together they all sing Peace and Quiet as Chef Brockett arrives with refreshments. The calmness is temporarily broken when Lady Elaine arrives dressed as a noisy dove of peace. Back at the house, Mister Rogers enjoys some peach pudding and takes down the party decorations as he concludes for the day. Part of the "Mister Rogers' Neighborhood" series.
