Mister Rogers talks about learning to tie his shoes as he changes into his sneakers. Heading outside, he uses a small step ladder to check the stability of his new swing. Taking a seat in the swing, Mister Rogers talks about growing and sings I Like You As You Are. Mr. McFeely delivers an invitation from Mrs. Russellite for Mister Rogers to stop by for a visit. At a cost of two, Mr. McFeely takes a return message from Mister Rogers saying that he will try to stop by later in the day. Looking through the telescope, Mister Rogers finds that Lady Elaine has made some significant changes to where things are located in in the Neighborhood of Make-Believe. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Mr. Negri talks with Daniel Striped Tiger about getting used to new things before he moves on to visit with X the Owl and Henrietta Pussycat. After making an appointment with Miss Paulificate to see King Friday, Mr. Negri meets with the King who instructs him to find Lady Elaine Fairchilde. Mr. Negri and Daniel decide to send a note to Mister Rogers asking for his help. Back at the house, Mister Rogers takes viewers to visit Mrs. Russellite and her collection of lamp shades.
