Mister Rogers arrives with two oranges and two bananas and sings One and One are Two before showing footage of his conversations with young people and teachers about school. Mr. McFeely stops by with a set of walkie-talkies which he and Mister Rogers demonstrate. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Mr. McFeely delivers a set of number and letter cards to Daniel Striped Tiger to help him prepare for school. At the Museum-Go-Round, Lady Elaine is adamant about preparing the children for school as she is drilling Prince Tuesday over basic arithmetic. Meanwhile, progress on the new school building at Someplace Else is coming along quickly as Mr. McFeely delivers a swing set for the school's playground. Back at the house, Mister Rogers is invited back to the school from the previous day to visit a first grade classroom. Returning from the visit, Mister Rogers talks about the fruit he brought with him as well as the apple he received during his visit to the school. Part of the "Mister Rogers' Neighborhood" series.
