Mister Rogers arrives with a floor mat with dance step instructions printed on it. Laying it out on the floor, he demonstrates how to use the mat. Mister Rogers invites viewers along as he visits dance instructor Arthur Mitchell at the Dance Theatre of Harlem. At the studio, Mr. Mitchell provides a tour of the school as his students demonstrate a variety of dance styles. He goes into detail about how he intially found interest in dance. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Miss Paulificate is at the castle talking with Henrietta Pussycat about dancing when Neighbor Aber arrives with a sign that says "Sometimes." As they try to decide who the sign is for, they sing Sometimes. Having realized that men can dance, Lady Elaine changes the name of her dance studio to the Sometimes Happy Dance Studio. Neighbor Aber glady dances throughout the Neighborhood as he delivers invitations to the dance studio to all of the men. Back at the house, Mr. McFeely stops by and tries out the dance mat before showing a film of he and Mrs. McFeely dancing. Part of the "Mister Rogers' Neighborhood" series.
