Mister Rogers arrives with a dog named Rose Isler which Mr. McFeely has been watching for a friend. Bob Trow stops by with the Bob Dog costume which he puts on as Mister Rogers explains the differences between a real dog and someone wearing a dog costume. Mr. McFeely soon arrives to take Rose for a walk. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Prince Tuesday is preparing to leave for school when Neighbor Aber arrives at the castle with a crown for Mayor Maggie. Unaware of the plans made by Queen Sara and Mayor Maggie, Prince Tuesday is unhappy with the idea when he is informed by Mr. Aber. Using the crown, Neighbor Aber and Bob Dog play a game of "hide and find the crown." At the school, Nancy Caterpillar presents a lesson, complete with a film, about caterpillars changing into a butterfly. Still pondering his mother's role as mayor, Prince Tuesday shares his anger at not being asked about the planned queen-mayor switch and fears that the change will be permanent. Neighbor Aber arrives to explain that the switch is just temporary and to sing The Truth Will Make Me Free. Back at the house, Mr. McFeely returns with two more dogs -- Mugsy and Molly. He and Mister Rogers look at various differences between the two dogs before Mister Rogers concludes by singing You Are Special. Part of the "Mister Rogers' Neighborhood" series.
