Hey everybody, my name is Emcee Ronnie and I have DJ 412 and Jumping Jamie with me. We are the Strong4Life challenge team. Now, boys and girls, we're gonna lead you in a Strong for Life brain break activity. Now, brain breaks give us a chance to get moving and get some of our energy out. By doing something active, we are recharging our brains and bodies so we can get back to focusing and learning.
(Describer) Option: Stay seated and move your arms.
Let's get started. All right, everyone stand up out of your chair and start moving your body. Start moving your body. Stretch it out. Stretch it out. Get ready. Loosen up because we are about to go for a run. Now, after I say "Run in place," you say, "What's the pace?" Everybody start running in place right now. Start running in place. Keep it steady. Keep it steady. Moving your arms, pumping your arms and your legs at the same pace. Great job. You guys are doing a great job. Keep going, keep going, keep going. Well, I have a question for you all. We're running in place, but what's the pace?
(voice) Fast. Fast, okay, everybody, run, run, run, run, run, run, run. Oh my goodness, you're doing a good job. Start moving faster. Keep it going. Keep running, keep running, keep running, keep running. Lift those knees up. Now run in place but what's the pace?
(voice) Slow motion.
[slowly] Slow motion.
Oh my goodness, look at that, wow. You have to give me your best slow motion run. Awesome job, run in place, but what's the pace?
(voice) Sprint. Sprint, go faster. Go faster, go faster, go faster, go faster. Fast as you can. Sprint, sprint, sprint. Sprinting in place. Running in place. Oh my goodness. Keep going, keep going, keep going, keep going, keep going. Run in place, but what's the pace?
(voice) Walk. Walk, okay. Oh my goodness, catch your breath. Take some deep breaths in. Walk it out, walk it out, walk it out, walk it out, buddy. Oh my goodness that was great. Now that was a really great run. I think we should cool down, everyone. Let's take in a big breath through your nose and exhale out through your mouth. Let's go, inhale, exhale. Keep walking, keep walking. Inhale, exhale. Let's do that one more time. Inhale, exhale. Awesome, give yourselves a hand clap. Give yourselves a hand clap. Great job, great job. Well, hey, that was a great run today and great job for everyone doing that amazing brain break.
