      Hi everyone, I'm Gigi. Welcome to "Gigi's Magic Mailbox." What's your name? I'm Daisy. Daisy! This is my granddaughter, Daisy. Daisy, how old are you? Five. Five years old. And what's gonna happen in a few weeks? Where are you gonna go? To school. To school? Are you gonna go to kindergarten?

      (Describer) Daisy nods.

      Oh, that's so exciting. -[xylophone ringing] -[gasps] Did you hear that? What does that mean? It's in the Magic Mailbox. Something's in the Magic Mailbox, let's see what it is.

      (Describer) Daisy opens the mailbox.

      [mailbox chiming]

      Oh, a book! And I see a big yellow school bus on it. This is called, "Even Monsters Go to School." Oh, that's so silly. Do you think monsters go to school? Yeah? Well, we're about to find out. Are you excited to go to school? You are? What do you think you're gonna learn? My letters. Your letters? What else do you think you'll learn?

      (Describer) Daisy shrugs.

      I don't know. You don't know? Well, that's the fun part. You're gonna get to find out, right? Well, if you have your own copy, go grab it and we'll read, "Even Monsters Go to School," together. All right, let's get started.

      (Describer) A woman with sparkly glasses smiles.

      [bright jaunty music]

      (Children) "Gigi's Magic Mailbox!"

      (Describer) A monster smiles.

      When Bigfoot wakes, he combs his hair

      [monster growling]

      and steps out in the morning air. Yellow bus is waiting there.

      [bus honking]

      [monster growling]

      Even Bigfoot goes to school.

      [children cheering]

      [monster growling]

      Frankenstein is clean and neat. His jacket's new, his shoes are sweet. He finds a chair and takes a seat. Even Frankie goes to school.

      [children cheering]

      [monster growling]

      Dragon's teacher says, "Hello," tells her what she needs to know, and most important, where to go. Even dragons go to school.

      [children cheering]

      [monster growling]

      Yeti is a bashful guy. When making friends, he's kind of shy. Today, he smiles and whispers, "Hi." Even Yeti goes to school.

      [children cheering]

      [monster growling]

      Troll likes recess in the sun. Outside voices, scream and run!

      [monster growling]

      Tag, you're it, he's having fun. Even bridge trolls go to school.

      [children cheering]

      [monster growling]

      Loch Ness Monster's favorite time is learning her first nursery rhyme. Teacher reads it line by line. Even Nessie goes to school.

      [children cheering]

      [monster growling]

      Giant's glad he brought his lunch, ripe bananas in a bunch, and carrot sticks to crunch, crunch, crunch. Even giants go to school.

      [children cheering]

      [monster growling]

      Aliens with great big eyes go gaga over school supplies. They learn to count in star-filled skies. Even aliens go to school.

      [children cheering]

      [monster growling]

      You brush your teeth, you feed yourself,

      [slurping]

      you put your toys back on the shelf, you're ready, and you know the rule.

      [monster growling]

      All little monsters go to school.

      [children cheering]

      [monster growling]

      (Describer) The monsters smile.
