Frank Waldron was a fixture of Seattle’s Jazz Age. He taught trumpet at his studio near Rainier and Boren. He composed original music, and he was part of the first Black music group to be allowed to play in downtown Seattle for white audiences, the Whangdoodle Orchestra. Part of the "Mossbaci's Northwest" series.
