Juan Quezada, one of Mexico's most famous potters, used his creative gifts to transform his impoverished village of laborers into a thriving artists community. He spent his life experimenting with different local materials to recreate the pottery of the Casas Grandes people, who inhabited the area of Marta Ortiz over six hundred years ago. Based on the book by Nancy Andrews-Goebel.
