In this episode, students explore Pirin National Park in Bulgaria and the Canadian Rocky Mountains. The Pirin Mountain Range in southwest Bulgaria has a total of 81 peaks that exceed heights of 2500 meters. The Rocky Mountains are a vast chain of mountains that stretch a total of 4800 kilometers north to south along the western side of the North American Continent. The section of the mountain range that lies within Canadian territory is called the Canadian Rockies. Part of the “World Heritage” series.
