In this episode, students explore Salamanca, Spain and Évora, Portugal. The Italian Renaissance helped transform Salamanca into a city of learning. The city is home to Spain’s oldest university. Spain’s unique architectural style is prevalent in a large number of the historic structures located in the city. Évora is just like a living museum with its collection of ancient structures. This city, which offers visitors a chance to see the footprints of history, is a symbol of Portugal’s Golden Age. Part of the “World Heritage” series.
