In this episode, students explore the archaeological site of Chavín de Huántar and the city of Cuzco, both of which are located in Peru. Chavín de Huántar is one of the ruins of an ancient civilization that existed in the Andes Mountains. This civilization is famous for its mazelike network of underground passageways. The city of Cuzco houses the historic sanctuary of Machu Picchu and is the place where Incan Civilization and Spanish culture converged. Part of the “World Heritage” series.
