How To: Embedding DCMP Media
Now Playing As: Captioned (English)
Engaging with students outside the classroom using learning management systems (LMS), such as Moodle and Blackboard, is commonplace today. This is especially true in schools focused on the flipped classroom model and independent learning. Finding relevant educational media that is accessible to students outside the classroom can be challenging. Many educational streaming partners are only able to deliver media to students while at school. Described and Captioned Media (DCMP) content is delivered through a highly-available content delivery network to allow access anywhere your students may be. With this technology, we’re able to allow teachers and other professionals to embed DCMP content into their courses hosted on a variety of LMS/CMS platforms. The process is very simple. If you can copy-and-paste, you can embed DCMP media. This video shows a real-world walk-through of embedding DCMP media into a Moodle lesson.
