Santiago Giraldo, an anthropologist at the University of the Andes in Bogota, Colombia, takes viewers on a trip to the Sierra Nevada of Santa Marta where the so-called Lost City is located. The Tayronas, an Indian civilization were evicted from their land in the early seventeenth century, its population burned, and its leaders arrested. It was only until 1973 that a group of anthropologist discovered this hidden city buried in the heart of the mountain.
