The U.S. Constitution, borne out of conflict and economic turmoil, was the result of a series of brilliant compromises. Stresses the importance of key compromises and the events behind them with dramatizations and depictions of art from the period, Also shows why weaknesses in the Articles of Confederation led to the Constitutional Convention and why a Bill of Rights and the Federalist Papers were necessary to allow for final ratification of the Constitution.

The information is well presented, but it is not well organized for note taking. The video opens with fireworks which scared my viewers and made the narrator hard to hear.

I really liked this movie. It contained many of the historical facts that we had already discussed during class. It reinforced my lessons. I'll be making a worksheet to reinforce my class and the movie.
