During 1692 in Salem, Massachusetts, 200 people were accused of witchcraft and 20 were executed. How could such a thing happen? Could it happen again? Has it? David Hartman hosts the examination of this historic event as reenactments create a portrayal of Puritan New England. Facts, opinions, and questions raise awareness of racial, ethnic, and political witch-hunts even today. (Answers to study questions follow the credits.)
