This documentary traces the history and culture of one people known in Mexico as the Mascogos and in the U.S. as Black Seminoles. Descendants of Seminole Indians and African slaves from British colonies, Black Seminoles migrated from Florida to Texas and Mexico. The influence of time and majority cultures have put the Black Seminole's culture in jeopardy of extinction.
