(Describer) Words appear: Strong 4 Life. Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.

      [soft music]

Hey, everybody. My name is Emcee Ronnie, and I have DJ 412 with me. And we are a part of the Strong4Life Challenge Team. Strong4Life is here to help build strong bodies and strong minds by encouraging you to practice our four healthy habits. The first healthy habit is to eat smarter and drink water. The second healthy habit is screens away, go play! The third healthy habit is to get rest to be your best. And the fourth healthy habit is emotions are real, express how you feel. Today's healthy habit is, emotions are real, express how you feel. Emotions 101! It is super important to be able to express how you are feeling. Let's do an activity together. Teachers, parents, everyone join in with us. Watch as the balloon grows if you hold in your emotion. Raise your hand if you ever have felt angry.

(Describer) DJ 412 blows into a balloon.

Raise your hand if you've ever felt sad. Raise your hand if you've ever felt nervous. Raise your hand if you've ever felt excited!

(Describer) The balloon is huge now.

Now, I bet every person put their hand up every single time, and that's because emotions are real and normal. We all have them. If you don't express how you feel, you'll eventually pop! Well, Emcee Ronnie, what can we do to help us make sure that our balloon does not pop? You can express how you're feeling by these things. Painting, journaling, dancing, talking to someone you trust, writing a song. Everyone expresses themselves differently, and that's okay. Find out what works best for you. Remember, emotions are real, express how you feel. See you next time!

(Describer) They wave. Accessibility provided by the U.S. Department of Education.
