(Describer) Title: Meet the Helpers.
Hi. My name is Lieutenant Green, and I'm a helper. I'm very proud of my job because I keep you safe from fires. I'm a firefighter. I work in a fire station, but you might also see me in your neighborhood or driving on the road in my fire engine. Firefighters do lots of things. We help put out fires, we respond to emergency calls if someone's hurt, and we create fire safety plans for buildings like schools and grocery stores. It's good to have a fire safety plan at home, too. Be sure to practice so you know where to meet if there's a fire and you need to leave your house.
