Access: Working With Students Who Are Blind or Have Low Vision

Access: Working With Students Who Are Blind or Have Low Vision Module is designed for teachers working in general education who have students who are blind or have low vision. It is meant only as an overview and will touch on some of the most important aspects of educating students who have vision loss. It will provide resources for teachers to learn more on various topics.

This module is intended for teachers, staff, and administrators who work with students in the K-12 setting who are blind or have low vision. Postsecondary faculty and staff, rehabilitation counselors, and employment specialists who work with students who are blind or have low vision may also benefit.

Participants who successfully complete the training may download and print a file issued by DCMP that verifies completion of three hours of training.

ACVREP credit is available.

This online module has been approved for 3 hours of ACVREP credit. DCMP is an approved ACVREP sponsor.
