CDC: Tips From Former Smokers - Terrie's Ad

A television ad that is part of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) anti-smoking campaign launched in 2012. Terrie Hall (July 19, 1960-September 16, 2013) was an anti-smoking and anti-tobacco advocate. She was a cancer survivor and underwent a laryngectomy due to her smoking. In an effort to educate youth about the consequences of tobacco, she talks about how she gets ready for the day after losing her teeth and hair due to treatments for throat cancer.
