Highlights a crucial cornerstone of character-perseverance-by showing real kids who achieved amazing results for themselves and their communities. Children need perseverance to master new skills in school, extracurricular activities, and life in general, but like any other character trait, it requires practice. Kids can develop perseverance by studying hard for tests, practicing a musical instrument at home, and refusing to give up when obstacles get in the way of their goals. Teaches that it's okay to fail. Both successful and unsuccessful people fail, but the successful ones learn from their mistakes and keep on trying.
