Part of the "Little Fables" series. Tells a story of a lion who threatens a mouse that wakes him up. The mouse begs for forgiveness. The lion accepts and sets the mouse free. Later, the lion is netted by hunters, and hearing it roaring, the mouse remembers its clemency and frees it by gnawing through the ropes. The moral of the story is that mercy brings its reward and that everyone, big or small, has their own special and unique ability. Based on a fable by Aesop.
