Prostate cancer is the second leading cause of cancer death for men. This program from "The Doctor Is In" examines the importance of patient involvement in decisions concerning testing and treatment choices for prostate cancer. Treatment options include: watchful waiting, hormone therapy, external beam radiation, surgery, and brachytherapy (a new procedure where tiny, radioactive metal seeds are implanted in the prostate). Includes interviews with two men who opted for surgery, along with a man diagnosed with cancer who has decided to wait before starting a treatment.
