In "Blaze and the Monster Machines: Light Riders," Blaze and A.J. race at night until a kangaroo steals every light on the track and around Axle City. To solve the problem, Blaze becomes a Light Rider and uses speed lights to explore key science concepts about light as visible energy, brightness, batteries, illumination, and lasers. The adventure also reinforces counting and number practice while cutting through sets of pipes, along with problem-solving, teamwork, and critical thinking. As the racers track the light thief through tunnels and a carnival, the story adds social-emotional learning about fear of the dark, empathy, and making amends. This action-filled STEM episode supports early elementary curricula in physical science, math, and character education. Part of the "Blaze and the Monster Machines" series.
