In "Baby Shark's Big Show: Sherman in the Middle / Smoothie Day," two stories explore family relationships, empathy, and respectful friendship. In the first segment, Hank feels frustrated when Father-Son Day includes his younger stepsisters, but he learns about sharing attention, sibling responsibility, and teamwork. In the second, William prepares for Smoothie Day and meets a new fish whose jokes cross into unkind behavior, leading to lessons about bullying, social awareness, and choosing humor that includes rather than hurts others. Key concepts include family dynamics, emotions, problem solving, conflict resolution, community celebrations, and responsible decision-making. With themes aligned to social-emotional learning and school character education, the episode supports discussion of communication, inclusion, and healthy peer interactions. Part of the "Baby Sharks Big Show" series.
