Browse Full-length Non-member TitlesThe rising ocean temperatures are causing species of fish in the southeast to move further north. The increases in temperature and salinity in the ocean will cause significant ecological shifts. As salt marshes in the Lowcountry get smaller, this will cause a decrease in the marine life living in them. Fishermen are increasingly catching species of fish not indigenous to the southeast waters, thus causing shifts in local economies. Part of the "Changing Seas" series.
