Hey everybody, my name is MC Ronnie. I'm DJ 412. And we're a part of the Strong4Life Challenge team from Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. As we begin our new normal, our goal is to help kids get back to being kids safely. Today we're gonna talk about social distancing. Have you heard about social distancing? I have, but I'm not quite sure what it means. What is social distancing? Social distancing is keeping a space between you and others outside of the home. But why is it so important? Because germs are more likely spread when people are close together. What are some ways we can practice social distancing?
(MC Ronnie) Try to stay at least six feet, about two arms' length, from other people at all times. Check for any signs or floor markings helping to keep a safe distance between one another. While eating, sit a safe distance apart from one another. And remember, you do not need to wear a mask while eating. If possible, keep an open seat between you and the person besides you.

When social distancing is not possible, wearing a mask is necessary to keep you healthy. As things start to slowly reopen, some of your friends might not be comfortable with a hug or a high five, so it's okay if you just give them an air high five or a elbow tap. Remember, it's also important to help build strong bodies and minds by practicing the healthy habits. Like drinking water, eating fruits and vegetables, getting plenty of rest, and checking in on your feelings.
