Traveling across the planet to every continent since the late 1960s, noted musician and soundscape ecologist Dr. Bernie Krause has recorded more than 15,000 sounds from marine and terrestrial species. Sounds from nature offer important information about the health of today's wild habitats and the life within them. Over half of the soundscapes Krause has recorded are now silent or can no longer be heard in their original form. These silent soundscapes reveal the impact of climate change.
