If Cities Could Dance: Dear Dancer Chain Letter
From New York to San Francisco, 16 dancers from across the country, representing a range of street dance styles and contemporary dance, move as if they are a single being. Poet Chinaka Hodge narrates the seamless expression of dancers from all corners of the United States. Inspired by Mitchell Rose's Exquisite Corps chain letter, each dancer begins in the last pose of the dancer before, passing movements across time and space. Part of the "If Cities Could Dance" series.
