Grant Wood is one of America's best-known artists and his "American Gothic" his most familiar painting. Divided into two parts, this presentation uses Grant Wood's own words and additional comments from friends and relatives to add color to this biography. Discusses his childhood, first jobs, trips to Paris, disappointments, and successes. Uses many of his paintings to illustrate subjects and changes in style. Wood died of cancer in February 1942.
