This stone, also known as the Rosetta Stone, is in fact the fragment of a stele engraved in honor of King Ptolemy V. It includes three writing systems, and the scientists of the expedition record the stone's inscriptions. On September 14, 1822, with the help of the precious copies of the inscriptions, Jean-François Champollion manages to unravel the mystery of the hieroglyphs. Part of the "Butterfly Effects" series.
