Sometimes students may come across inappropriate content or images on the Internet. If so, they need to be able to talk with a trusted adult about the situation. A trusted adult may include a parent, guardian, older brother or sister, teacher, school counselor, principal, police officer, or other family member. This support system will help the student feel safe and can provide guidance for using the Internet.
