Music By Prudence

In Zimbabwe, where disabled babies are often killed at birth, Prudence not only survives but achieves social acceptance as the lead singer of the band, Liyana. In this Oscar winning documentary, follow the story of how Prudence and a band of people with disabilities triumph over seemingly insurmountable odds as they perform their "Afro-fusion' music to the global community.

Several Zimbabweans in wheelchairs who make up the band Liyana sing into microphones and play instruments on a street, while others look on.
