In The Grass, On The Reef

Dr. David Kimbro and Dr. Randall Hughes study coastal ecosystems such as salt marshes and oyster reefs. These systems provide many services: sheltering commercially important crabs and fish, cleaning the water, preventing erosion, and ultimately aid in keeping marine habitats healthy. "In The Grass, On The Reef" was funded by a grant from the National Science Foundation.
