Microscopic Monsters

Climb aboard the Cyclops, a microscopic research vessel, and investigate an amazing hidden world on which all living things depend. The Cyclops houses a team of scientists known as the Micronauts and guides them through their discoveries of biological classification, diversity, and ecology. The Micronauts find adventures and conduct scientific explorations in ponds, streams, woodlands, and backyards. In their observations, they detail information about the organisms and their life cycles. Teaching guides for each program describe follow-up activities and correlates the programs to the National Science Standards. Additionally, the guides also explore the design and features of the imaginary vehicles used by the Micronauts in their ecological investigations.
