The Danger Zone: Steering Clear Of Drugs

Students learn that they have choices when it comes to the dangers of drugs and alcohol. The series provides the latest research and information about the drugs students are likely to encounter and the effects of these substances on the brain and body. Students also learn refusal skills to help them in peer pressure situations where they might be tempted to try drugs or engage in underage drinking. These refusal skills help students see why self-esteem and self-worth are better fostered without drugs.
