This title highlights the life long journey of Nelson Mandela and his quest to establish equality for people of color in South Africa. Mandela witnessed the negative impact of apartheid on South Africa, and he vowed to fight government's ruled of keeping people apart based on their skin color. By standing up to the government's policies, he was imprisoned for twenty six years. However, after his incarceration, he became president of South Africa and continued his fight to make his country a place that belonged to all South Africans. Based on the book by Kadir Nelson.
