Charimar, born in the island of Providencia, writes stories and dreams of being a marine biologist, travels hundreds of kilometers to get to the Guambia Indian Reservation and meets Henry. Throughout her trip she learns the traditions of the Misak tribal village and its people who live 2.600 meters above sea level. She learns to farm and fish; she also discovers the wonderful universe of the "guamabianos" myths and legends and the charitable properties of the thermal waters of the "páramo." Before leaving, Charimar tells Henry he has to travel to another country.
