Homelessness is a difficult and complex social condition that affects nearly two million people in the United States alone. It certainly can be a challenge to talk about homelessness with young children. In this program we meet a young African-American girl, Abby, who wants to do something to help homeless people. Her story is of unselfish determination, which helps young viewers learn about the joy that comes from helping others.
