Raising Cane!
Now Playing As: Captioned and Described (English)
Raising Cane is an easy-to-follow lesson plan that will teach students and peer groups how to appreciate differences in themselves and others. This simple lesson plan takes the students on a journey through different types of disabilities without promoting sympathy and encourages empathy. Each lesson teaches objectives that encourage left and right brain activity and takes less than thirty minutes to complete per day. Raising Cane was created to promote awareness as well as to teach a serious concept through fun and enjoyment. Part of the "Social Skills Cinema" series.
