You've never seen basketball like this. Follows the Zia Hot Shots, a nationally ranked junior wheelchair basketball team, through a season of training and tournament competition. This spunky, diverse coed group of adolescent athletes brings a special meaning to the idea of teamwork. "This is one place they go where they have wings," says their coach. "Whether it's a flat tire or a leaking catheter, we can deal with it." This team deals with some difficult issues, from gender conflicts to injury, illness, and thoughts of death.
