Christy accepted various challenges related to her deafness growing up. The challenge for being a contestant on Survivor stretched her even further. She became a strong role model and advocate for the Deaf and changed the perspective of many toward the Deaf individual/community. A worthwhile watch!
Kudos to this young lady and the story of her experience and determination.
GREAT RESOURCE
Excellent opportunity to learn about the life of a successful Deaf young adult, including hard times she dealt with.
I will definitely be showing this video again. I will be showing it to my students who are Deaf. Great true life situations.
Very good, highly recommend.
