One of the United States' secret weapons during World War II was the Navajo code talkers. Speaking military code in their unwritten language, Navajo soldiers confounded the Japanese and helped win the war. Survivors reflect on their experiences as experts comment and young Navajo marine recruits explain their patriotism. Their contributions are long unknown; as a result, only recently have these men and their exploits been honored.

Navajo Warriors: The Great Secret is an exceptional film that informs viewers about the self-less contributions of Navajo soldiers during World War II. Without their efforts, the U.S. might not have defeated Japan. But in a larger context, we learn that the Navajo were entirely committed to protecting the United States of America.
