For 30 years, Watergate has remained an intriguing mystery and scandal in American politics. Part One chronicles the Watergate burglary and political events of the early 1970s before speculating on the content of the missing 18 minutes from tape 342. Part Two focuses on the possible identity of Deep Throat, the mysterious informant during the investigation. Uses television footage and comments from some of the major participants. NOTE: On June 1, 2005, Deep Throat was identified as Mark Felt of the FBI.
