(Describer) Title: All About the Holidays. Each letter in 'holidays' has a different colorful pattern. Pages of a calendar turn.

(male narrator) Summer's ending, and for most families in the United States, the kids go back to school. Starting in August or September, it's time to learn new things, probably with a new teacher and maybe even in a new school. Here are some great ways to prepare for the transition. Teachers often send out lists of books you should read and supplies you'll need. Write your name on items before bringing them to school to avoid mixing them up with everyone else's stuff. Going to bed earlier and waking up sooner a few weeks before the first day of school might make it easier to wake up when school starts. The night before your first day, lay out clothes, pack your book bag, and discuss your plan with your family. Don't wait till the last minute to pack a lunch. Feeling excited or nervous before the first day of school is normal for everyone. A great school year begins with a great mental attitude. Try your best, make new friends, and have fun.
