The Hard Road West: The Story of the Donner Party

Presents a historically accurate reenactment of the ill-fated Donner Party. This is their story as told by the survivors and recovered diaries. Along the journey, students learn about the dynamics of a wagon train. This series gives students a real sense of the daunting challenges and hardships families endured during the overland journey to the far west.
