But it's nothing like her old home New Delhi. Canadian weather is cold and grey, and a terrible ice storm cuts off the power. She fears that her plans for the party are ruined. Obviously, a Diwali celebration is impossible without lights. Or is it? As Gita experiences the glittering beauty of the icy streets outside, the traditional festival of lights comes alive in a sparkling new way. Animated adaptation of the children's book by Rachna Gilmore.
