Ed Marko literally loses sight of the plan for his life (known as "Plan A"). The story of this occupational-therapist-turned-auto-mechanic would be unremarkable except that, at the age of 20, Marko lost his eyesight to a degenerative disease. Undaunted by his disability, Marko continued to work as an occupational therapist until he decided to open his own auto repair shop in Cincinnati. As he attempts to repair a battered car in his shop, Marko's daily struggles with nuts, bolts, wrenches, and bearings become an allegory for his life. Marko demonstrates how adaptation in an auto shop, and along the road of life, can open new doors and bring new solutions to problems. Navigating piles of parts, uncooperative employees, a pesky cat, and customers' unruly cars, his new life plan (known as "Plan F") is a visual demonstration of the power of reinvention when life changes the plan.
